HISTORICAL
SIGNIFICANCE The
Sopwith Pup was the pilots favorite of all Sopwith fighters. It's docility and
with excellent agility made it a pilot's aircraft. It had none of the heaviness
of the prior 1 ½ Strutter and lacked the latent viciousness of the later
Camel. |
